Penn State Cooperative Extension now offers a Pond Home Study Course! This course is designed for pond owners with ponds larger than one quarter acre in size. The twelve week course covers lessons on Getting to Know Your Pond, Pond Maintenance, Aquatic Plants and Algae, Fisheries, Attracting and Managing Wildlife and Pond Management Case Studies. New DVD Available - Management of Aquatic Plants
This 30-minute DVD discusses the benefits of aquatic plants, how to identify them and various methods of physcal, biological and chemical control.
